Dr. Anuj Diwedi
Dr. Anuj Dwivedi is currently serving as a S & T Specialist at the Research and Information Systems for Developing Countries (RIS). He earned his doctorate from the Department of Botany at the University of Delhi. Prior to his role at RIS, Dr. Dwivedi completed a tenure as a Project Scientist-II in the secretariat of the Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomics Consortium (INSACOG). This consortium was a joint initiative by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), the Council of Scientific Industrial Research (CSIR), and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Dr. Dwivedi is a recipient of the National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (N-PDF) awarded by the Department of Science and Technology - Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB) of India. During his doctoral studies, he was part of the Erasmus Mundus fellowship program, coordinated by Lund University in Sweden and supported by the European Union. Through this program, he conducted research as an EMEA fellow with Professor Martin Kater at the University of Milan in Italy. He has also participated in various prestigious and fully funded programs, including those organized by the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology in Japan, and the Genomics-assisted breeding of wheat program organized by the Wheat Initiative in Bologna, Italy, and supported by the G20 Agriculture Ministers. In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Dr. Dwivedi has received the APS Global Membership Fund from the American Phytopathological Society in the USA.
