Dr. Sushil Kumar
Dr. Sushil Kumar is Assistant Professor at Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi. He obtained his Ph.D in Economics from Department of Economics, Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi. His academic qualifications include M.A. in Economics, M.Phil. in Economics and M.B.A. in Finance. He also qualified UGC-NET test for lectureship December 2011.
He served as research fellow in economics at the Haryana School of Business, Guru Jambeshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar. He also served at Amity University, Noida as visiting faculty of economics and guest faculty at Delhi University. His research interest areas are South-South Cooperation, India’s Development Cooperation, International trade and finance and applied econometrics. He published his research in academic journals, discussion papers, edited volumes and research reports. He has participated in prestigious academic conferences and high level policy dialogues in India and abroad. He also participated many short terms training programme in India in the field of applied econometric, economics and research methodology.
He also received advanced professional training ‘Managing Global Governance’ MGG 13 from August to November, 2015 financed by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Federal Republic of Germany at MGG Academy of the German Development Institute (DIE), Bonn he also completed the 12th international futures programme held in Berlin in October, 2015 under the auspices of the Federal Foreign Office, Berlin, Germany.
