Dr. Anshuman Gupta is currently working as Consultant in Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS). After receiving his M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University( JNU), he served as professor of Economics  in School of Business, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun; Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM);and  Hawassa University, Ethiopia. He did many projects sponsored by government institutions and published many scholarly books on trade, WTO and Regional Trading Blocs. He published many peer-reviewed research papers in national and international journals of repute. He contributes in financial newspapers like The Economics Times,  Business Standard, etc. He was also the editor of the Book titled, “Energy, Environment and Globalization” published by Springer Nature in 2020. The second volume on the same topic from  Springer Nature is in pipeline. He is also the recipient of ERASMUS Plus fellowship for faculty exchange of European Union.
